In the past, very few retailers empathized with the public financial situation. The goal of any corporately funded monopoly is to acquire as much as possible. In the business of retail, those acquisitions would be other people’s money. Whether they have it or not. Don’t believe me? Look at the state of the nation’s credit crisis. Not just Bob and Sue’s credit. The NATION.
[EDITOR'S NOTE: Let me just start by saying I do not, in any way, condone children swearing. This doesn't mean I haven't slipped in front of my own kids and had them repeat a few choice words while Mommy tried to explain they shouldn't say such things and laugh at the same time. Now that the Veep debates are over, I feel compelled to take a drink or two. Or several. Instead I’m taking shallow breaths through congested nasal passages and what I am almost sure is an elephant sitting in my chest. I am one of the most biggest cheerleaders you’ll find for Fall. My body is not.

Everything about this race sends me over the edge and I am sure to drive myself into a coronary when it’s all said and done. Prepare the paddles. STAT! This may be just the very reason why I’m officially going blind, my eyes all red and irritated and such.
