I’m not sure of the exact date when Flickr decided it wanted to be about more than just photography but, slowly, there’s entered the age of cinema. I have to admit I had my misgivings, what with the possibility of tainting the purity of photography with movement. But artists like these and these have warmed my heart and heightened my desire for more. And I have seen a few who fit into my give-it-to-me-now cinema fetish with Flickr, but the possibilities seem so great and the talent so few. I’m sure in time it will grow into the phenomenon Flickr has become.
