LOL Love

The first time someone brought the phenomenally successful site/blog I Can Has Cheezburger to my attention, I’ll admit, I was not on the bandwagon. The whole LOLCats hysteria I just didn’t get. Granted, I’m not too fond of cats. Maybe if there was LOLDogs I would be all over it. I thought it was just my age showing, my whole disdain for what could only be ignorance at its best. Then I realized the author of the site is older than me and this huge wave of a migraine washed over me from repeatedly slamming my head into my desk.

I love LOST. I make no secret about this. My co-workers are beginning to worry about my health and well being as they deem my fixation on the show unhealthy. One colleague labeled it “cult-like” and told her husband she honestly thinks I believe these people who visit me in the little Technicolor box every Thursday at 10:00pm (EST) are real. Perhaps. I neither confirm nor deny. Apparently, someone who loves LOST as much as me, but also loves LOLCats, had the brilliant idea of combining the two like some sick, twisted Reese’s Cup. And now that my LOST is stuck in my LOLCats, I don’t think I mind it so much. Here is a sample [WARNING: You, too, have to be a cult-like fan of the show in order to understand the humor]:

Hope you have my coffin ready. I think I just died.
